Phnom Penh, June 26, 2025, Daikin Airconditioning (Cambodia) has co-organized a workshop on "Building Sustainability Through Enhancing Construction Testing and Using Efficient Air Conditioning".

His Excellency Say Sam Al, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction of Cambodia has honor attended the workshop on “Building Sustainability Through Enhancing Construction Testing and Using Efficient Air Conditioning".

This workshop has organized by Daikin Airconditioning (Cambodia) and National Construction Laboratory with a total 1,500 participants with the honor of being attended by His Excellency Lao Tip Seiha, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Land Management, Urban Planning and Construction, His Excellency Nhar Heng, Director General of the National Construction Laboratory, Mr. Kiichi Ikehara, First Secretary of the Embassy of Japan in Cambodia and representatives of relevant ministries and institutions, the Japan Association of Cambodia (JBAC), builders' associations, housing development association Of Cambodia, private companies, and many students.

This workshop aimed to enhance understanding of the role of innovation construction practices such as testing new materials and utilizing energy-efficient products, particularly in air conditioning toward achieving sustainability through enhancing construction testing and using efficient air conditioning.

Mr. Toshiyuki Tanaka Chairman of the Board and Managing Director of Daikin Airconditioning (Cambodia) Co., Ltd., highlighted in his remarks " In February 2025, we were honored to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the National Construction Laboratory and Daikin Airconditioning (Cambodia). Since then, Daikin 's management team has been continuous working with National Construction Laboratory to establish a collaborative framework."
This workshop reflects our ongoing commitment to social responsibility and action towards Co2 reduction through cutting edge technology air conditioning system to Cambodia market.
This workshop also serves as a valuable opportunity to further enhance collaboration in the areas of construction materials, equipment, and products, while promoting the exchange of new information and technologies aligned with safety standards, energy efficiency, and sustainable HVAC solutions.

His Excellency Lao Tipseiha, Secretary of State has given a speech we can see and understanding more clearly about improving the quality of construction materials and the use of air conditioning. This workshop is very important for the public, builders' associations, housing developers' associations, engineers, architects, and experts in the construction sector in Cambodia to apply techniques, science, standards, energy, and sustainable heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions that are in line with national and international standards.
